What is HDS?
The HDS certification (“Hébergeur de Données de Santé” in French) is a certification developed by the French Ministry of Health.
This certification is mandatory for any company that hosts health data on behalf of healthcare professionals or institutions in France.
The HDS certification ensures that the host has implemented all necessary security measures to protect the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of health data. It covers various aspects such as physical and logical security, data backup, traceability, and business continuity.
Exoscale HDS certification is available for download in our compliance center.
